The closest thing to multiplayer is the touraments as you're playing within a set time. Match up is a pointless joke.
i remember that the first pinball fx i played (ps2 or ps3) had the option to play simultaniously online. and you could see who was winning by the collored arrows that also show when playing hotseat. i dont know why they didnt bring that back in the pc version. i was hoping this version would have it. but i suppose that was false hope again ;)

TBH, only good thing on this new game are the enhanced graphics.
Everything else is pointless or even worse than previous version :s
The cell phone industry is the classic example... even tho I just bought this "brand new" cell phone six months ago on the day it was released... hey, look at that!! There's an even NEWER cell phone coming out tomorrow... and you just know I gotta have that one instead! So just tell me where to wait in line overnight and I'll be there with my sleeping bag! LOL
Yeah I'm sick of it, our constant need to "progress" at ever-increasing pace... For just once, I'd like to go backwards instead of forwards? Back to a time when video games were more about just being good video games, than about being "new and improved"?
I'm a lifelong gamer, so I've seen it all. I was playing video games before we even had video screens to play them... LOL Hunt The Wumpus on a teletype printer, anybody? Maybe I'm just old and jaded, I dunno... but this "video game industry" just hasn't gotten it right... it's all about glitz and glitter (i.e. "better graphics) than about better gameplay, more engaging gameplay.
Oh well, off my soapbox and back to playing the "new and improved" game... that can't even seem to recognize properly which tables I "own" (whatever that term means in this digital day and age)... sigh
Im still playing old tables on XBOX 360, i like this pirate themed table and agents and rocky & b, and my all time fav soccer table. Im not buying every new game because other ppl do it. I have just few fav games and can pay for them real money. PFX3 is just new PFX and i believe will be developed and refined in future like previous releases to be perfect pinball game.
