none of the resolutions are optimal for the game on my screen?

Im pretty sure theres supposed to be a bar underneath the car that tells you if your overheating. i wouldnt know though cause its not visible and i havent been able to pass 3 seconds. the onlything the resolutions change are the width of the screen which is not the isuue. i need to see the bottom but theres no option for this
