Abandoned?

Is the game abandoned and if so would the owners be willing to give the game to someone else to maybe finish/progress the development?

The game was a consolation prise of sorts while the devs were battling legal issues for their main game, The Repopulation. To show us they had not given up, they gave thisw to the repopulation owners, then sold this to others who didnt own the game. As for abandoned? I dont think so, but consider it more of a side project, since the repopulation is being developed once again, and the devs of that game made this as a time killer/test bed, I dont see much being done here anytime soon.

This game is no longer being developed. We do still check in on the forums, and fix any issues that arise on the servers. But development has halted. We are willing to listen to offers from other developers to continue development of the game but we have not received any and the development team is no longer together. Everyone had to move on to other projects to make ends meet.

I remember I bought this because their other game was having problems. It pushed me away from buying anything else from them.

Yea I wouldn't touch them, thier first game was stripped from them by publisher / engine owner, cause of thier lack of commitment / programming knowledge.

( I don't blame them, why would publisher want to deal with failed Devs)

They are a sad bunch, but the fan boys still defend them lol.

is it possible to host the game on your own server? because if it is then im not worried about the game not being finished as there was enough ingame for myself and partner to do.

Yes, both player hosted servers and single player is supported. There are also still official servers online.

You got some balls comming in here posting after what your little escapade did to the community.

Maybe if you weren't so desperate to make a game and sell your soul to the graphic engine designers just to get your game published this wouldn't have happened.

But infact what was your major down fall was the lack of direction and commitment to the project, and fragmented followed the same road as your other game.

So who to blame now?

I was looking into getting this dirt cheap now but seeing the EU servers are going down...and im in Europe...is it worth it? Being dropped progress on it to is minus 2 points to a sci-fi setting bonus point.
