Can't craft gold coins

Today I went to hire a thrall, and realised I needed gold coins but when I went to my chest of gold coins, all my gold coins are gone, and also I can't craft gold coins at my casting table. I can still craft silver coins though.

Are you using any mods?

People have reported this as an intermittent bug. As a work around, you can convert treasures into gold coins in you treasure cofer.

i got this bug today, were u able to solve it? no mods as well

I had this the other day one one character on an official server. Other characters could make gold coins just fine. It cleared up after the server rebooted, but by then the tavern patron I'd wanted to hire was long gone.

cheers, guess i gotta wait for server reset.

i wonder what caused it, i converted 1k gold bars just fine but left the 30k coins in the table. then added 12.9k more coins and 3 glass bulbs to craft que while i went out to capture sorcerers for bounty and sacrificed one guy, and hired some1 in tavern. not sure if it's the bugged sacrifice stone que or crafting more than the casting table could hold that caused it....

It's one of those intermittent bugs that are hard to track down and fix.
