No battlepass? No buy.
Simple equation. The battle pass is the product I wanted. The bazaar's predatory pricing policies are not.

This wallet is shut until either bazaar pricing is honest (Aquilonian elevators being the most notable offender I can think of) or the battle pass returns.

LOL What an odd flex..

You realize that all you're doing is yelling at them because you cannot spend.

Video gaming sure has taken a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ odd turn.

That's what I don't get. They want the whales' money, but they don't wanna respect our common sense. Sure, we'll buy any dumbass thing, but not if we're gonna be led by the nose into a predatory market. We're not STUPID.

They weren't making money because the battle pass auto renews. I was surprised they let it run as long as it did, to be honest.

I always treated the free coins as a bonus instead of cycling them into the next pass. This is a very good opportunity to teach the value of financially supporting the facets in games we want to see.

Though the cynical part of me wonders if it wasn't intentionally damned to fail because of that. That DID seem overly generous from a company that practices clear predatory pricing in their cash shop.

The Battlepass didn't directly cost money. It just required you to put $10 into the system to eventually be spent on non-battlepass items. It was basically a big grab bag of bonus content. A lot of people will now finally be trading in the 1200 crom coins they bought two years ago for something in the bazaar, and that'll be the end of it. Whatever it is probably won't be worth $10, but combined with 7 battlepasses it'll be a better value than any of the DLC packs. This will be the last time we get that kind of deal.

Agree. I have all the DLCs and probably would have paid for each battle pass separately. They just don't understand the sweet spot for pricing and content.

Obvious bait is obvious
I agree, how dare people not work for free! Absolute heresy! Free content or i'm sooo out of here!

Why are you removing the Battle Pass? Reaching level 60 in the Battle Pass each time was my main motivation for playing this game, and now that reason is gone.
Skylandy Jun 18, 2024 @ 2:58pm
I'm not against the battlepass leaving in favour of free content for everyone to appreciate (without so much FOMO) but I'm not convinced that what would've been more affordable battle pass content wont just be dropped off in the bazaar.

They should bring back the old method of grouping lots of cosmetic items and selling them as dlcs or something at a reasonable price. Do I mind paying for stuff in games? Not if it's high quality and worth the pricetag. Do I feel conan bazaar overpriced? Absolutely.
