Are Legendary weapon even worth getting with War update?

I read you can not repair legendary weapons with war update.
Are they still only 1 damage higher than craftable weapons?
I had to kill Red Mother 20 times to get the reach of the red Mother and after update it will become destroyed with use and they expect me to kill her another 20 times for a temporary weapon???
With the MTX and this change I believe they have killed the game....
Best craftable weapons are MTX...
Am i missing something?

The Ancient Lemurian Axe has been my go to weapon. With the Advanced Weapon Damage Kit, and crafted with a Blademaster it has 59 damage and 14 penetration. The Legendary equivalent, the Reaver's Axe with the same fitting. does 69 damage and 15 penetration and has double the durability. I've been using the Reaver's Axe because it can finish relic hunters and the skeletons in the Warmakers dungeon in one combo while the Lemurian Axe takes five hits.

H'mm, assuming you're taking AoW so basically it gets a slight nerf, but remains craftable. Beats endless boss fights for the minuscule chance of getting Reavers

But aren't all Legendaries feels unique again in the next update? At the moment, most Legendaries are only good just for damage increase, no unique prefix or something.

The best weapon you can craft in the game is the Tenderizer. Nothing can beat it's combination if damage output and armour penetration.

Keep in mind that not only the regular non-legendaries are being nerfed, but we also won't be able to perform a full combo any more due to stamina nerf. Prepare for a megaton of new combat-related bugs as well.
I never wear a light armor or indulge in the dagger porn which I simply despise, so this new update might be game over. And I thought funcom already hit rock bottom with their sorcery. Guess not.

Edit: I hate cheating but I might just spawn my Red Mother bow if it gets broken instead of farming. I got this bow only once after killing the Red Mother about 50 times. maybe more. Sick of that dragon.

I mainly use the predatory blade (https://conanexiles.fandom.com/wiki/The_Predatory_Blade) with over 100 damage with a weapon damage kit, 9% armor penetration and crippling. I only got it once in more than 200hrs of gameplay this time! I like its look and "feel", but it will break sooner or later with the new update and can not be repaired! With Age of War I am forced to kill the same enemy over and over again to probably get a new one? 200hrs... Absolutely no way!

And don't forget that every object loses max. durability after repairing it! EVERY object! Iron, steel, star metal... every weapon, every armor piece, everything! Combined with the stamina changes your main task in the game will probably be maintaining your gear and farming resources for that and not "epic boss fights" etc! More/longer fights for resources to maintain your gear mean, that your gear breaks more frequently even for farming!
This is not a change for better combat and immersion. It's just a time sink! The longer you are in the game, the higher is the chance that you buy "awesome" new weapons etc in the shop...

You know you can transmogrify your items and armor in this game now with the thaumaturgy bench... you just need to unlock sorcery.

Just make your regular weapon look like the legendary if you dont want to use the legendary itself.

I hear you! I also mostly use the upgraded predatory blade which I found during my 2,780 hours of farming — only once!
My many chests are filled to the brim with legendary weapons, dozens of them are displayed on the walls and my army of t4 thralls are all equipped with the best legendaries but I found only one predatory blade and only one Reach of the Red Mother bow, the only two weapons I use regularly.

I was hoping for a big player base up beat, but I think with this you've ruined it enough even the old time players will quit soon as they see how awful this is going to be with the vanilla settings on most servers . Go check out how awful it truly is on the test server . utterly devastating game changes for most players . 1500+ hours glad only $40 dollars wasted . Wish I could get that back for them ruining it to it's core game it was .

Yes. They said it is getting buffed and the durability greatly increased. Modifying it doesn't cap durability anymore, so a Legendary will be awesome and a reason to fight for.

I might be done with this game for good after this update. Such a massive change with not enough planning or engaging with the community first.

Its funny they think legendary weapon hoarding is the issue, not how common and easy they are to obtain. So many other things should have been improved first that would have been easier to fix. How about addressing how much time players backtrack to bases and go AFK waiting for crap to cook?

I just don't like this mindless repetetive "content". For me it's not "content" when I have to do dungeons etc over and over again. In MMORPGs I dont' do dungeon runs and raids etc for equipment. Once or twice doing this stuff is ok, but more than that... absolutely no! My time is too valuable to play things like that repeatedly.

These changes just mean to me, that I move on to other games. There are so many good games out there! Time to play these! "Grounded" does a pretty good job, when it comes to gameplay and "grind"!

I found lots of those axes just by farming. Never used it because it was kinda one of the worse weapons, in my opinion. I prefer a crafted venom-infused one.
And yeah, the predatory blade is my 'go to' weapon for trash mobs control. Never lose stamina with light attacks and with maxed out strength and armor str bonuses it's a beast.
