what was the update for 2-20-2025?
Notice an update again today wondering where they post these updates because both their website and here have no information. They have both an official website and a steam page where else could they be posting these updates or are they not?

If I'm not mistaken, that's because the Bounty Hunt event is ending. There was a similar update a few weeks ago after the end of the Sacred Hunt event.

Almost as funny as: "Fix legacy bugs?"

Typically when you have these few KB updates that don't require file operations afterwards to install, it's just a new version of the launcher...
They most likely just put some Dune ads on it because of the release announcement.

Makes sense

Unannounced updates of any kind are in danger of possibly being some kind of attack on my computer. I don't accept attachments on my emails unless I know what they are and it is not a good idea to receive downloads from any other sources without knowing what they are. This is a security threat that shouldn't be ignored without alarms going off. All it takes is a single sentence notification from Funcom to let us know that this is just an event update or something, and I don't have to initiate WW3 or anything. That simple. Please. Common courtesy can go a long way to prevent a ton of unnecessary nonsense.

They're not sending you an email.... and you don't have to download anything from third party sources.. they're pushing you an update to the game that you already have installed through Steam, which can only ever be official as only the developers can do it.

That being said, sure it would be nice to mention it, what would be even nicer is to build their launcher in a way that it doesn't require updates just to change the ads.. since the game didn't technically change so them talking about an update might be equally weird..
THAY NEED NEW TROLING THINGS MAYBE ,IF I TROLING YOU I WILL NOT WRITE YOU WHAT IS IT??

No idea what the update was for but the game no longer launches. Steam keeps flicking back and forth between "Play" and "Cancel" but the game never opens. I had to go into the game files to find the actual executable in order to launch it

I can no longer shut off the trailer
