Dungeon Delver journey has multiple bugs
Complete all dungeons. Sounds easy, right? Well...

Some dungeons work as intended - you come in, possibly with friends/companions, finish them, done.

However, multiple are bugged:
- Midnight Grove requires to go in solo - no other players/companions allowed;
- Sunken City - same issue, need to go in completely solo;
- Warmaker's Sanctuary - does work with companions, doesn't work if any other player is also there(even from same clan);
- Wine Cellar - again, works with companions, but not with other players;

Needless to say, in multiplayer it's unreasonable to expect, that you will have dungeon all to yourself. "No companions" requirement also can really mess you up, if you have Authority build.

If this isn't going to be fixed, at least write it in journey description, so nobody has to do multiple test runs to figure out, how to make it count.

I've done them all with a companion and received credit. I've even done them with a mod that let me have 4 companions and it worked.

My issue with it is that you have to do them in the order listed to get credit. Why is The Well of Skelos not the final dungeon? So after I have the best gear in the game, only then should I go back and do Sunken City to pick up a bunch of obsolete recipes and mats I'll never use?

Exactly.

Same here SP dungeon delver journey works fine as long as you do it in the order of journey steps. Must be MP bug or OP did not do them in correct order.

And to my opinion of these journey steps should be able to be done in any order you desire (at least dungeon delver and that other Cartographer where you must visit all faction main bases in correct order which is stupid).

Some dungeons require the character doing the journey to get in the killing blow. You don't have to do them alone, just have your follower/companion back off when the final boss is almost dead.

This is actually not the case. I understand that this was your anecdotal result, but it's simply speculation.

The journeys are simply linked to the final bosses of these dungeons dying. It does not matter who or what kills them.. every single player in a massive 50 meter radius - regardless if they're in the same clan or in any way related - will get the journey awarded.

So there are absolutely no special requirements or conditions other than the boss dying by any means, the problem is that there's a bug in the code.
The journeys are awarded by the dying NPC from within its code at the very end as it's being destroyed, which creates a bit of a race condition making it simply unreliable.. sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesn't.
If you don't get it on the first attempt, just feel free to try until you do, don't have to ditch followers or do anything special, it's just random.
