I have a pagoda design that requires three high walls per story, but it looks better from the outside than inside.
To be honest I'm a bit of a random builder. Sometimes I'll decide on a tower or more standard style of building but usually I just start to throw something together and I often end up with some pretty random buildings. Sadly some of my best and favourite builds are gone due to server issues, decay timer issues/bugs, and the foundation bug from a while back.

This is a really old build i don't have anymore. It was a massive structure so many rooms, i even had one room full of dead bodies hanging from chains with a bunch of particle effects was really taxing on my old system to run.
You need to add cross support beams to harden the structure.
I built this across a frozen lake, you will die on the bottom level without heat even with warm armour so the bottom levels were a trap for people..
