Switching Thrall mod mid-game

Hello,
A few weeks back, I started a solo game with the Better Thrall mod. Since then I've found out about Improved Thralls & QoL and I'm interested in trying it out.

My question: if i switch from one mod to the other, will it affect my save?

Another questions for people who have experience with both: Is there anything that Better Thralls did that Improved Thralls & QoL doesn't do?
