It's the same 3 step process:
1)Knock them out and drag them back to your base
2)Put them on the wheel and once they are done with their training...step 3
3)Place them in the world or at a crafting bench (if they are a crafter)
Feed, clothe and arm them with a weapon and they will be your best friends forever...or at least till you delete you character.
And tbh, I am pretty sure that has been that process since the games inception....
IM me if you're having problems.
Then as I remember no need to train them, Just get them to follow you back to the camp.
With all the changes I had no idea what to do, what with all the stuff online about performing some ritual or something to get then to come down from the sky.
So next step is to build a Torturers bench and get some good truncheons and ropes.
Thanks for the help johnny.
That is true. Some NPCs used to appear in spontaneous surges from the clouds, and while those were able to be captured, they were not the only ones available. Most were able to be captured in NPC camps which were around the island, which there were not all that many at the introduction of Siptah. For some time now, camps and bases have been added to the map and now there are a plethora of NPC camps and bases all around Siptah with NPCs aplenty for the taking. And the jailors cages are still a thing on the island and can sometimes be a T4 named that is incarcerated. The Spontaneous surges from the sky are no longer a phenomena on the island. Although, you can still call in a regular Surge from one of the working Leyshrines to get specific faction followers. That is probably what you are reading about doing a ritual, but honestly, aren't necessary and certainly problematic to do solo anyway.
But yes. You make a club, fiber bindings and a wheel, just like in the Exile Lands and go get some. When you want better tools for capturing, then the torturers bench.
Then you kill sorcerer on some of the exiles camps to loot iron bonk stick and leather bindings from their bags.
Then you start hitting exile camps to get either Frigga Falsehope or Deidre Deathbringer T4 fighters and possible some T4 crafters.
Level up and start move to south and hit Stygian invader camps in there to get T4 crafters. Dont bother with Stygian T4 fighters Umbra or Kunar the invader they are both trash hitpoint wise max about 2000 hp without extreme luck (Hallowed and Redeemed perks) or elixir of rebirth spam. Umbra and Kunar are nice for collection but very lousy fighters for their poor hitpoint gain per point of vitality.
When you feel you are strong enough you move to center and hit Leyshrine of Goblinoids to get your first and second Accursed Berserker. (WARNING they hit like a truck, killed my almost 700 hitpoint MC with heavy silent legion armor set in four hit combo with a mace).
Level up them to 20 and you have won.
There is also Black corsair faction but are currently bugged and all T1-T4 thralls in that faction cannot be knocked out and thralled without mod fix. Also they are slow exp gain same as Accursed faction but really low hitpoint gain same as stygian invaders.
And when you are level 60 run the dungeons and do the level 4 surges to get Aesir Berserkers that are Cursed berserkes but in steroids. (or any other t4 thralls you want to get only from surges).
I got my first one in the south west.
The second try in the North West of the island I tried and I couldn't knock anyone out.
My character is level 60, I have a steel Truncheon and I got killed 3 times trying?
After recovering my body 3 times, I finally just killed everyone in the camp and looted everything, but I couldn't do any damage to any of them with the Truncheon?
Is there some kind of bug, nothing at all happened when I hit them.
