Sorry about it being less fun for you, though. I'm sure you'll adjust and find something else to steal.
Why the sarcasm? I play on pvp servers only, so if people are worried about having their "hard work" taken away, they can take their candy asses over to PVE or PVEC :)
PVE servers are polluted with huge bases and nothing to do.
The PVP servers on the other hand are full of worthless mechanics to destroy peoples 3 weeks of work building bases with God powers in 4 minutes while they are offline. If you cannot be on 7 days a week for a specified 5 hours based on some crappy placement of a server location time then forget it.
Conan needs to go what all the other games have done and put up a self setting base vulnerability time when the player thinks he can think he can be around. The current system just allows for losers to pop around servers and once you rank up there is nothing to do but steal other peoples crap. There is never any real PVP. There are no player attractors that could or would even cause PVP.
Losing out on your favorite loot item because of an update sucks for sure. I believe there are some mods that replace them back as lootable items, if you would be interested in non-dedicated servers.
