Funcom is the most incompetent

gaming developer to date. There may have been more financially corrupt, *ahem* EA *ahem* but Funcom holds the crown for least likely to be able to do their job right. There's not a Funcom game on the market that isn't a buggy, glitchy, crap fest. Conan Exiles being a prime example. Bugs and glitches YEARS down the road that were already reported in beta. Every single update they release has game breaking issues, be it crashes or bosses falling through the ground or thralls just disappearing because of living settlements, your character passing though an enemy while attacking, on and on an on. They are an absolute garbage company.

It is a business with many people and all there folk and assets have to be paid for.
And keep in mind are you talking about the game mod free or do you have many mods??
These are the main course of trouble and remember the engine plays a big part.
I have a few mods and and one gives me trouble at the taming pen, keeps crashing taking food from the inventory, another courses blood to be spat out when i use a pick on stone.
So let us know if you have any mods.
I have no issues at all with this game.
They have, kindly, fixed something that really upset me, and that was when I had a great pet , a panther , and I ran into a corrupted something, a lot of the time, and they just killed my pet.
Now we are given chances to keep them as we can revive them twice.
I personally think you are being a little mean towards them.
But you don't need to be quiet if that is your view.

a round of applause for not having an original content idea in at least the last 2 years,all mostly taken from modders ideas even living settlements is basically from soulmask, annoying modders with so many nit needed devkit changes i acxtually think it was done on purpose, adding tags to npcs in devkit with same name as an existing one for no other reason than to make ppl tick a thousand or so boxes for fun that have no connection in game, i think they ran out of content and are trying to drive em out so new modders come in that or try and give em jobs to lock theyre content off from being passed on, oddly the latest blog section here kinda agrees with my thinking,,Therefore, we’ve taken the decision to hold off on developing new content and features while we focus on improving the game from a technical and quality-of-life standpoint. At this point, we believe we need to put more focus into making the game better, not just bigger,, yup but nothing eill fix anything until you completely rewrite the broken lagfest of the ai system

The producer's letter in the recent past acknowledging the fact that they shall be spending time fixing bugs and forgoing content drops is testament to the fact that the game is indeed somewhat buggy. I would go so far as to state that pre-3.0 was the most stable the game had ever been.

Let us keep all appendages crossed and hope for that is all we can do. It's quite unfortunate really. They had an unpolished diamond in the 'open - world survival' genre but squandered it all with shortsighted business decisions.

There is a wall within the storm glass style with a piece called interior wall thats the same on both sides. But I get what you mean, I want all the styles to have that. I hate the look of both the aquilonian and argossean inner side walls

I quit at 2.2 because the game was broken and stagnating. I came back for the much promised sorcery. 3.0 meant the game was finally moving forward again, but funcoms reach has always exceeded their grasp.

i generally only log on to the Official Server i play on to maintain my structures and note if anymore crafting thralls have disappeared.
certainly don't feel like buying any DLC or Bazaar items if my fully leveled and well equipped crafting thralls just die for no good reason.
they fixed some things in a recent path, but i'm inclined to play very little as long as that Dying Settlements bug remains.

It is funny to see how some people critisize those who point at Funcom's failure........

Wait until you put several YEARS of building into the game and then because of another failure get told to start over because they f*cked it up so badly that you can't even log in anymore........

I build humongous very unique builds , i don't build in creative , i grind resources , then build , all my builds come organicly into being , even if i wanted to i would not be able to replicate it.......

Starting over is not an option , and why would i ??? So the next f*ck up erases that as well ???

I am done with Funcom , it will take a very long time to take the foul taste out of my mouth !!!

Out of the four pc's in this house NOT ONE will play this game with out over heating its self to shut down and or hard crashing so bad you have to use the power button to stop it. This game has been unplayable for us for years! Now the nerds can say (nerd breathing)-"CLEAN THE DUST OUT OF YOUR PC" our response "but the pc is brand new,ZERO dust" their reply "BUT THE DUST" lolz just f'ing stupid!

There is a category we have created for games in our steam list it is called "crashing trash" and this game is in that list! must be the dust i guess lolz (no).

There's thousands of people playing this game daily on steam. Not denying CE/Funcom isnt wonky but its strange that the none of the four pcs in your house can run this game hmm

Lets forget CE for the moment. Lets look at your PC's because "overheating" is a very broad statement.
A PC is not some mystical entity, it is a mechanical/electrical unit that requires millions of conditions to be met to run successfully.
Please supply some basic PC specs like O/S, PSU, CPU, GPU, Ram.
Once the CE player community has that info, help will be at your finger tips.
