Are Thralls Permanently Broken?

I haven't found much on this topic at all and its really frustrating the heck out of me.
I can't complete any journey that has to do with placing thralls in a workbench, i.e Thrall taker journey, or placing an arch priest on your altar.
I also can't achieve the achievement for doing so either, Or summon an avatar from the station.
I understand the old mechanic was placing thralls from your inventory into the workstation while the new mechanic requires placing them in the world and then moving them to the specific crafting station. I have tried it all including accessing the bench that has a thrall on it.
My question is ARE THRALLS BUGGED? and if so FOR HOW LONG? does the devs ever update this game. this seems to be a prolonged issue? did support for this game stop?

Well known issue, been reported multiple times. Might get a fix come spring; next update.

I'm sorry to inform you that it's a bug reported by many since September 2024... it's not the only bug, but at Funcom they are lazy, and those rare updates they do (one every 6 months) seem to not even be tested since they appear more new bugs...and there's always the doubt that they forget to fix the old bugs.
Until (and if) they resolve the problem, you will not be able to finish that mission... (and others). Put your mind at rest and don't spend any more money on this game left in disarray.

I"m convinced that their QA testers complete a rigorous series of tests of that Bazaar button. If that passes, good to go.

Nope. If you want to gripe funcom doesn't care. You might as well be praying to Crom.

I've done it multiple times in the last few weeks. So it is working fine for some people. Though obviously not everyone. Are you playing single player or on an actual server? Single player, for some reason, sometimes works differently or has its own set of bugs.

Works for me when i place thrall to directly to crafting station.
Instead of placing thrall to random place in the base i place them to crafting station example T4 armors smith to armor station (there is green thrall place holder that shows thrall working on station when you hover thrall near your crafting station)

After placing thrall there he/she works there like a second and then walk out and going to eat. I have completed thrall taker journey in age of heroes by placing thrall directly to crafting station.
Oblivious that there are bugs that prevent this working on some and not for others.

I only play sp so don't know is the bug related to only sp or mp.

Maybe it has smth to do with being in a clan? Coz i do same and dont get nor journey nor achievement.
