Fatal error: [File:C:\B\tech_exiles\code\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.cpp] [Line: 959]
GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 60.00 secs
I am also getting this error. It isn't in steam it is in Funcom. It says:
The UEr-ConanSandbox Game crashed and will close.
Fatal error;
[File:C:\B\tech_exiles\code\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.ccp] [Line:959]
GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 60.00 secs
I believe that for those of us who do not have super gaming computers, they need to change the parameters of the RenderThread and make it after 120 secs or 360 secs. My memory on this computer is very low (I have 2 4mb ram sticks in it) I will be updating that soon but until then, I keep crashing. However, even after it says it crashed, I wait longer and it starts. Sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes before the game boots up. It's torture. Just close those boxes and wait, and wait, and wait.
The game start to lag a lot then hangs, if i have the time to look in the other direction it's ok but the moment i look in the forge direction it hangs again and crashes.
There has been an update the 07.20.2023, i can see that many files of the game have been updated. So someone at Funcom ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up good, should i be surprised ??
And it happens on a high end PC with a 3080 ti, 32 GB of Ram and a 12700 CPU so it's not a performance problem. I never had crash before two days ago, i just can go in that zone without crashing.
Those drivers are from 07.18.2013. So i think funcom updated the rendering engine for this version 2 days after.
Tried this, still crashing at my base in Forge of First men and surroinding area, apparently Funcom is aware of this and working on it. Ran fine until the latest hotfix sadly. Perhaps my driver update failed i though but my biddy having same issie even after gfx update.
Same here. With a Vega 56 no problems but on our high end PCs with RX7900XT it crashs on Siptah lower left edge with GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 60.00 secs
I don't think, they will fix it.
