2. easiest way to get steel is capturing sorcerers and bring them to the headhunters. You get Obuli as a reward which which you can buy supplies. In these supplies are big numbers of tar, iron, steel, ... (RNG), atm easier then farming iron and crafting steel.

DLC armors only have the basic and epic versions, but the again so do the base game armors.
This is so the DLC is not Pay-to-Win.
