Anding a compass is a modder 101 thing, funcom could have gotten it done in an hour. The question is why did it take so long? People have been requesting one since the game dropped.
They added it because it was easy, a piece of low hanging fruit to claim they are listening to us and fulfilling our requests, nothing more.
I actually have a compass mod on my HUD and I like it, even as a somewhat veteran player, but that is beside the point.
Seriously, why do you care if I have it? Is me having a compass going to effect you game? No? So what is the issue?
I swear some people just look for reasons to gripe.
As I have said in another of these absurd gripe threads, a compass is mod studies 101. It didn't detract from any other developmental work. This was low hanging fruit so funcom could say they gave us some long requested thing. Nothing more.
And have you seen it?
Even once it's unlocked, built, and equipped, you are going to have to look for it in your HUD. When I saw it my first thought was "they sure funcomed that".
"There game has a f-cking MAP to use. "
"If you're not playing the way I do you're doing it wrong"
And how old are you?
The QoL mod that adds a compass/minimap is one of the 3 I recommend.
I just hope with adding a new journey, they fixed at least some of the bugged ones. Thrall Taker and the cooking journey recipes are still locked because of this.
You just do not get it do you?
Stick to fixing the damned game.
What if the compass is just a byproduct of fixing the thralls for lively villages?
I've said it before so you know I'll say it again, some people just look for reasons to whine.
