Why all UDP port 7777, 7778, 7779,7780 fails
I tried to create my own dedicated server.

I can join my server using "game from internet" in-game and play it. But none of my friends can join it.

I installed official launcher/manager (FM) from Funcom.

This manager said all time all ports like 7777 to 7780 are in red status that mean unreachable from internet. And i don't know why.

Router is configured to allow these ports like 27015 or 27016 (status green with FM) and 7777 to 7780 (status red with FM).

Bidefender firefall is configured to allow ports 777ish and 2701ish

So why my friend can't join dedicated server ?

Help plz.

Wasn't steam using some of these ports?

Also at the bottom you say you allow ports from 777ish, i assume you mean 7770 to 7779?

The instructions talk about actually changing them away from their defaults since Steam uses those ports. This is what I use and it's been fine for years (you can use these as a starting point).

Game Client Port: 7788
Raw UDP Port: 7789
Source Query Port: 27016
Rcon Port: 25575

Multihome enabled
Internet Router (not Bitdefender/Kaspersky/etc) Firewall Port Forwarding is set up with these

If you still can't figure it out, I would suggest posting on the actual official forums thread. ToolGuy may have some suggestions to try if you post on the Dedicated Server Launcher forum thread.

Or you may want to try Admin's United Discord for help. (Link here)[discordapp.com]

1)
7777
7778
25015

That my list fowarded with router because official documentation from Funcom suggest that.

2)
7779
77780
25016

I added 2) because i host my own server and play client on same computer. And it seem to cause problems.

Think i moved mine to 25020 as i had issues with steam using the ports.
According to steam itself it can be using them, easiest way to check would be turning off steam for a minute and checking the ports in the ded launcher tool.

I tested without running Steam.

It's crazy : ports stay in red status for no reason.

That mean it's not really Steam who block 7777 7778 ports.
25016 is still ready.

I never saw that in game industry where you do exactly what is written on official dedicated server info from Funcom and you fail to run your own server.

So far i understood those are just suggestions, so maybe something else blocks them.
All in all it took me many hours (over a couple of years and patches) to get mine up and running.
You could simply try some other ports or doublecheck if the aren't already open with another tool.

My problem is no matter what i do with official Funcom dedicated serveur version 1.3.8, block itself two ports :

- Game client port 7777 7778 7779 7788
- Raw udp port 7778 7779 7780 7789

- but not Source query port 25016

And it seem i don't really need to open ports on firewall, just on routeur.

If you suspect the tool beeing the problem, there are sites for a quick accesscheck.

If the firewall says no access, it doesn't matter what you set im the router.

If firewall don't block 25016 why it should block all 777ish ports ?

And i tested with ports 7788 : my server don't appear in Conan Exiles servers list.

I'am pretty sure all is bugged about dedicated server.

My server appear sometimes yes sometimes not in servers list.

All ports 777ish 778ish locked.

And they make publicity hard for g-portal to incitate players paying like idiots.

Because its 2 different thing? Why block one door anc keep the other open?
Its maybe even only blocking incoming traffic, not outgoing.

It's not bugged. I gave you the answers and advice you needed, which you ignored.

Set up Multihome, correctly open your router firewall ports, correctly set the ports.

No no and no. Did you read all i written here ?

Ports are open from router it's sure 7788, 7789, 25016.

Ports 7788 and 7789 are blocked i can't use it for dedicated server. It's like 7777 and 7778. So it's change nothing.

Multihome i tested it change nothing too and it's for hosting multiple servers probably those clustered like Ark Survival Elvoved.

You didn't said here that changed my dedicated server into running perfectly one.

All my friends can see randomly my server on Internet, can access it using right password and after that fail to connect.

Dedicated server are bugged : often i must quit many times client to reload it to have chance to find my dedicated server in list.

Dedicated server launcher from Funcom change itself some settings i done like ports, when i put 25016 before starting server after saving settings, it will change that port in 25015 for no reason.

There are plenty of problems like that i tested.

I had a similar problem. Make sure "Multihome" is checked, add your internal IP and save that in the server launcher. Then close and re-open the server launcher and test again. For some reason, the tests failed for me until I re-launched the program.

If i put my internal IP is put on multihome all status ports stay red.
