Little WARNING if the game crashes or freezes for whatever reason there is a high chance that you lose some of your thralls forever if you had more than two thralls following you at the moment of crash/freeze when you load autosave afterwards. Thralls show in follower list but are not drawn in the game world and cannot be rescued.
Has happened to me and it sucks if you lose level20 thrall because of that.

I have not tried it, but it seems like a simple mod that does only one thing, which I prefer to more complicated mods. Also, Better Thralls is no longer supported.
"Better Thralls" will allow up to 10 Followers at same time (additional Follower Perk not Req)
Problem is, the developer of Better Thralls has stated they will no longer support the Mod, so the Mod is subject to stop working anytime there is an update.

If you want more than that, then you will need mods as described above.
Awesome mod Better Thralls. One of the main issues with having more than 2 thralls is getting stuck in amongst your thralls after a combat encounter. Better Thralls solves this issue with a feature to command your thralls to back away. Although BT has been discontinued, I personally would be wary of similar multi thrall mods that do not have this "essential" (imo) feature.
