Cannot progress in Freya's Big Game hunting quest.

I've let Freya hunt scores of bears, wolves, elk and boars and i collected thousands of hides and the quest never ends?????????

Build a campfire or return to her bonfire. She needs to pray to Ymir.

Were they 1 skull bosses?
It has to be a 1skull boss version of that animal for it to count.
They are new spawns on the map, so you may have to do some research to make sure something isnt blocking one of the spawn locations.

She will comment when you're near one of them that you need to kill.
They just need to be elites/alphas, they all are around the southwest (SSW) area from her hovel.
When you talk to her you'll know which ones you still need to do.
Mind that she has a perk difference when you're doing that quest, if she does more dmg than you do to those specific monster, she will get a dmg perk.

Didn't work. Probably bugged. Freya killed a one skull wolf, a one skull boar, two one skull elks and two normal bears. I tried the small campfire and nothing happened. I then brought Freya back to her Hovel only to find another Freya on one knee at the large bonfire. It's just bugged for me

Just get rid of the one that is with you with admin privileges, or if it's not your server, I guess someone used manual npc spawning on her. Dunno though how the real time counter is affected.

I never found her in my "base", I only progressed her quest when she was near her hovel, just need now to wait for tomorrow, for her to appear at the volcanic forge entrance.

I've just watched a video by Angarr and it showed each animal being eliminated from the list. In my case nothing is being eliminated??????

I have have the Problem i kill the Giant Boar more then 1 Time wiht Frey but the quest not finish

yeah so I killed plenty of bears and mini boss wolfs, boars and elks she will not do or say anything.

It's definitely bugged for some players. I'm just going to wait for someone to make a mod to fix this.

Im stuck around this part of the quest too. after killing all the animals she wants me to find a campfire or to build one; I have placed multiple ones in front of her of different shapes and sizes and it wont trigger the next part, i have taken her back to her hut to her own campfire and that doesnt work either. she keeps repeating the same line "we need to find a campfire..." even with two of them right in her face

As for this, try to lead her back to her hovel and the "campfire" she has there. On beta, this solved the issue.

As for the kill count issue, you need to pay attention to what she says. If she spots an Elk, you need to kill the Elk, killing another animal will do nothing. And yes, they have to be one-skull.
You might try to reset the quest, moving far from the quest area used to reset it. I simply followed what she said with no issues, but it is known that the quest is overall problematic.

I followed her instructions and hunted the animals that she mentioned all being "one skulls" except for the bear, and as we hunt these animals the list still stays the same with no progression. So there is no triggering the next stage and no mention of a campfire. I'll try and reset the quest and see what happens.

I've done this twice now. Both times I let her make the running. She says "This ground has been torn up by a boar" or "It's an Elk" or whatever and I go into stealth mode and creep towards it.

What seemed to me was that if it aggroed on me before she took off to kill it then it didn't credit the quest. If she pointed and went off after it then I stayed clear and let her kill it and got the quest credit.

The fire thing I don't understand. If she asks for a fire I just put down a standard campfire and she said her prayer and progressed the quest.

Where I am stuck is after doing the Skelos Forge fight and her saying it is time to fetch her husband - after she's had a bit of a rest - and that was days ago and she never writes or calls. I just feel used.

But the fault is clearly mine. What was I doing expecting it to work in the first place!
