Liu Fei Perk?

Definitely was casting spells in every stage of the quest. Still got the never-casted-a-spell perk. Can't even progress with Freya as she's bugged out and stuck at her "billowing smoke" and won't follow me to do the hunt. This update is a joke. Wake me when there's at least a way to reroll these morons.

I mean, rerolling will become a thing, but you know Funcom. It's going to require an expensive to make potion that you first need to learn the recipe for ofc

Idk if you figured it out yet. But I'm pretty sure you have to either kill something with sorcery to get that perk, or kill while the sorcery is active. Idk I did it at the gathering notes part to fight the imps and it worked

hm. If you don't use sorcerry-mods, how do you "kill with sorcerey"? The only way to do that, is the lightning storm... (or maybe, if summons count... but then, not YOU killed, but your summons...) And the lightning storm is one of the last spells you'll learn the vanilla-way and cost a lot of rare and difficult-to-get recourses.

On the other hand: to get to Liu Fei in the first place, you need decent equipment... But that's not that hard to get, since age of war... (because Alchimistical base is realy easy to make and get since then... And weapons can be found in legendary chests. So you just need think leathrer for most epic armors. And that means, you don't even need to get to the norrthern biomes...)

However, the realy rare recourses for the last spells are also relative easy to get, if you know what to do... You just need a lot of relative rare sorcerer items failed sorcerer pages can be dismanteld into black blood... so you don't nessecarily need to hunt the monster, that drop that...) real sorcerer-pages give the same. Both give the same amount, so I wouldn't use the real ones...

BTW: is it normal, that you wil get 4 portions of sacrifical blood now? (if not, I know, it's one of my mods.)

I cast Zombies, Lightning, and invisibility multiple times across the 3 quests between the 8 hour waits. Still got the corrupted hits that drain corruption from me. Guess if I want to bring this idiot with me I have to also bring a cursed item if I want to keep casting.

I'm not playing on a modded server, so none of that is applicable, but I can assure you that I've wasted so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leather pouches making sure I was casting ♥♥♥♥ during those quests.

This is 100% Funcom's problem. The Dune game is going to release flawlessly /s

You don't even have to cast it...hand out the first quest (blood) and then just have to hold and activate the arcane staff. That's all.
