After that they were auto assigned to all the benches they could work on, so our armour thrall now works on all benches related to armour. They do not stand at the bench like before but wander around doing random things but the bench works as if they are standing at it.

I had to deconstruct each bench and rebuild them for the crafter working animation to go away.
I just put out the crafters into the world and relogged, that set it all up good
I have multiple different thralls of the same profession, collected over MANY hundreds of hours, yet only ONE is auto assigned to a station. (and the one cook who was auto-assigned to my 3 cooking stations, is apparently the only one who can also double as an Alchemist at the Cauldron, WHILE STILL COOKING)
Apparently Daya Leaddrinker is the ONLY smelter in Conan Exiles, and she can apparently run ALL 6 of my forges at the same time, even though she is sitting on the other side of my base, drinking in my tavern.
There are 8 doors in total between the "dormitory" that I purpose built for my thralls (with tables, chairs, fountains and camp fires and a proper bed for each and every one of them - just as the blog post suggested) Yet my thralls can magically pass through doors (when they aren't getting stuck on them) and I have 5 of the sleeping in MY bed.

This is the sum synopsis of this update.
Way too late tbh, and doesn't mesh with how we've used them for YEARS.
It's almost as if... they dream up these things... by themselves inside of a vacuum chamber.
TBH it's a bad start, but i know this is a new thing and i want to give it a chance. i've stopped playing for now because i was about to rage quit and will try again later. i'd REALLY like if there was a toggle to turn my benches/thralls OFF the new system so i could use them as they were before the expansion
I seem to have lost one T4 carpenter because the bench was full, making arrows.
Also, I can't seem to place a second cook, though likely will will be getting rid of a lot of thalls.
No barkeep to be found.
The thralls seem lazy and apt to be elsewhere. : )
We were about 109 total followers before for 9 bases. I worry, and the powers that be have taken the counter away from us.
It's a neat system, but the teething is a bit rough.

Apparently NotFuncom knows about it, and once again it's a "whoopsies" and them just shrugging and saying "That sounds like a YOU problem, so you'll just have to suck it up, and go out and get more"
Guess I'll be keeping my Crafting Thralls in storage for awhile.
Honestly I might be done with CE after this Update.
If you have multiple different types of T4 thralls placed, you can choose what bonus to apply when starting crafting. But it only counts the thralls that are actually placed.
(If you have mods.. no comment)
So far Ive been positively surprised by the update. Although the sounds of steps and opening doors is somewhat spooky..
Theres even a choice to set an interactable "off-limits" to the living thralls. Thats a great addition. Now I can set my bed and my throne so that thralls dont use them.
ps. The journey step not working is a bug yeah,.. We can only hope it gets fixed quick.
My worker thralls all get the "returning home" status and then die. They are nowhere to be seen, and when I check on them in the list of followers, I see that they take 1 poison damage per second for no reason. If I try to use "rescue thrall" from the menu , I am told they have been attacked and cannot be saved before 9 minutes cooldown. I can guarantee you that no one is attacking them. They end up dying. When I check the log in the settings, it does not say that the thralls have died or have been booted (broken bound) yet they are gone from the list and the game. 100% bug. I have seen the life gauge of one of them go from 100% (about 1000 health) to 0 in 1 second when I was looking at their stats in the followers menu. I tried to use "rescue thrall" and i got the message: thrall cannot be found. After that, they were gone. RIP my ONLY bladesmith and a bunch of other High profile Tier 4 workers... I will restore a saved game from before I started playing the age of heroes but I have wasted a good number of hours on it already. Not playing again until it's fixed. I don't use any mod by the way.
