Stamina not recovering, ever

Hi folks, I have had this happen twice now, randomly during gameplay on a private server. My character's stamina recovery is suddenly zero. Doing anything that drains stamina does so as normal, but you never get any of it back. Once it hits zero, it stays there, which prevents combat, running, jumping or doing anything else involving stamina use. I can log out and come back the next day and it's still zero. Encumbrance, food and drink are all at normal levels. The only way to restore the character's stamina recovery is to power the server off and on again. Then things are normal for a while before it happens again.

Did u try to respawn? Maybe that helps and goes "faster" than restarting the whole server.

Question: Do you have 20 Expertise for "pack mule" perk? (I can't recall it's actual name)

Short potential answer:
Try dropping enough inventory to lower your weight below the over-encumbered status. If your stamina starts regen-ing, pick your stuff up and continue on your merry way. If not, you have to die.

Longer answer:
This happens to me sometimes. Removing the bracelet works, but the bug can re-occur and fetching your stuff in very annoying. After testing it a bit, I think I know what's causing it for me. I think the game 'forgets' you have the "ignore encumbrance" perk. Then, when you die, you drop most or all of your stuff and the game 'remembers' the perk, allowing stamina to regen again. Dropping enough weight to remove over-encumbered status seems to cause the engine to 'remember' the perk as well, which is why I think that's the trigger. It just happens to be a trigger that trips when dying, as well.

This is a bug Ive reported on the official forums. Dying will reset the bug and allow you to act normally. Make sure you have a bed nearby and remove your bracelet from the main menu.

The cause for this bug is logging out while in a interactable emote state. A chair, a bed etc. You have clicked a bed and are now lying on it, and if you then log off and log back in, the stamina bug is on. And it stays on through relog attempts. Only death will reset it. The first age of heroes hotfix update didnt fix this, so we must hope the next one will.

Unfortunately this bug goes into the category of never to be fixed and been there since pretty much the beginning.
Now though this has become hell of a lot more common than it used to. There just are more bugs introduced and made them appear more commonly than before, got to say these are grade A updates.

remove bracelet to die, respawn back -> your stamina works again.

No, it has not been there since the beginning. It only started appearing after age of heroes. I know, cause I used to log out while inside the stygian sarcophagus, but the stamina thing only appeared after AoH

But if people want bugs fixed, they should report them on official forums. The more pressure in the form of reports, the more likely the devs are to fix it. The defeatist attitude never solved any problems.
