Dedicated Server Over IPv6 (Dual-Stack Lite) Possible?
I have spare hardware at home to host a server myself 24/7, so I don't want to pay for one or rely on external services like VPN, DynDNS, port mappers, etc.

Is that possible?

I am searching for a solution simply involving the Dedicated Server Launcher (1.7.8) and port forwarding on my router/firewall to host a dedicated server over IPv6 or rather DS-Lite (Dual-Stack Lite) without relying on external services or paying/changing my provider for a real IPv4 address.

It doesn't seem to be possible, though, since even the in-game text box for server direct connect seems to not even allow a long enough string for IPv6.

I would be grateful for a well-founded answer on whether or not this is possible/achievable without external services like WireGuard, ZeroTier, etc.

Just set up your server with a static 'Private' IP address. You don't have to pay anything for a Private IP address. 7777 is the default port in the server. You can change this port number if needed. I run 'Conan Exiles' and 'Isle of Siptah' at the same time on my server PC. I use port 7740 for CE, and 7750 for IoS. For example when I log in to CE I use 192.168.1.245:7740, and for IoS I use 192.168.1.245:7750.

Footnote:
I had to change the port number because I run a 'Satisfactory' server on the PC as well. Satisfactory also uses port 7777. If I ran CE with port 7777 as well, it would cause Satisfactory to crash.

My problem stems from my provider / connection type. With DSLite, I am not able to connect via IPv4, so the IP scheme XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX does not work. It needs to be IPv6, something like this: 2001:db8::8a2e:370:7334. This would normally relate to a port as follows: [2001:db8::8a2e:370:7334]:7777. At least, that is my understanding of DSLite.

but it doesnt seem to be supported, at least with my limited technical knowledge in this area.
