Hello. I have problem. I'm poor and due to bad, or actually not making proper life choices in the past, I will not be able to get a proper computer for gaming for two or more years. However, I have been wanting to play this game since it was first released. I know that some long running games have their system requirements become more intense as time goes on, however, is it possible to play this game at a stable 30 fps on low to medium settings at a reasonable 900p?

I should add that I have 20 gigs of ram and that perhaps, even with a horrid 128mb of dedicated vram, the computer, like with some of the other games I play, will put the load on to the ram.

Yes, I am aware of what the system minimum requirements are, but I have seen and played games can still run on certain hardware in my many years of playing games. Thank you very much for your feedback!

I cannot answer this question other than saying that a long-distance friend of mine played Conan Exiles on a very old gaming laptop. I have no idea about the ram/storage of the laptop, but she was able to play it that way for over a year now. Two weeks ago, she finally purchased herself a gaming PC and she said the difference was like night and day. Sadly, I cannot get the specs of the laptop for you as its been given away.

Based on what you stated the specs are, if the game even loads, I would aim for 720p and not 900p. Turn down the overall gfx settings to low but tweak the individual gfx settings to your liking and the computer's capability.

Finally, you could just purchase the base game (Steam Summer Sale: $9.99), install it and see if it works. Steam allows for refunds within 14 days of purchase and as long as you played less than 2 hours. So maybe buy it, install it and see if you computer can handle it. If it doesn't, just refund it (again, within 14 days and under 2 hours of playtime). Think of it like a paid demo.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much my friend. I think I will just go ahead and do a quick purchase and test the performance. I hate being poor, but that is on my terrible irresponsibility in the past. I am in a better place now, but it will take time to claw my way out of this hole. Thanks for reading my blog! :)

Afaik, it'll run better on AMD's integrated graphics than Intel's.
