Fatal error every time I try to launch the game on Windows 11

Fatal error for me every time I launch the game as soon as the movies start. None of the usual parrot help is successful. Drivers? Check. Verified Files? Check. Removed all mods? Check. Windows updated? Check. Game worked fine prior to this update on Tuesday. Now it refuses to load at all. The "continue" button is greyed out on the launcher, so not even trying that. The movies play and the game continues to load behind the UE4 fatal error as well.

As usual, the updates broke something...

Looks like I have a bit more "luck" and my fatal error happens "only" randomly....it happens even when logged in, pressed ESC to do some RL stuff:

I am also on Win 11, my PC is brand new and got assembled, tested and delivered 2 weeks ago and haven´t played much since then. I hope its nothing wrong with my PC, but you are not alone with these fatal error crashes in Conan and its frustrating :/

Full reinstall got rid of it... nothing else did. Time to take an hour to put back all my configurations.

I'm getting it several seconds into the game when trying to enter any menu. Guess I have to reinstall ...

Im getting a similar thing happen to me. normally a couple of mins after i start playing and start building my first hut, I thought it might have been an out dated mod or something. but its random times and now i cant even load the game without it saying NO!

New update and now I am getting crashes ... cannot even get past Funcom screen. Done everything, up to and including reinstalling. Any suggestions?

When you reinstall, make sure you deleted everything from the game folder and everything from the workshop. It was the only thing that worked for me on Windows 11. Oddly enough my main computer is Windows 10 and didn't have that issue. I have no answers really, only what worked for me. Good luck!

From what I am reading here, it might be Win 11 that causes the problems for this game, maybe trying with Win 10 compatiblity.

W11 is one of the worsts OS ever. For gaming just stay with w10, you wont get any benefits for upgrading... only tons of issues.

I would tend to agree. My laptop unfortunately came with it preinstalled. My desktop is still "safe". :)

Also having random "UE4 Engine Fatal Error" crash all the time... Mostly on the Siptah map...

Tried disabling the mods, re-enabling them, uninstalling, re-installing... Nothing seems to work...
