Thralls Falling Through Surfaces Into The "Void"
Just started having issues with thralls who were placed on guard status falling through whatever surface they were standing on. While dungeoning I returned to my base and over 20 odd thralls had disappeared who were standing on terrain. Another 6 who were standing on sandstone foundations fell through the blocks and were waist deep.

Looking for ideas on why this has just started happening when previously I had never experienced this? Also any other work arounds other than the obvious of standing all thralls on placed flooring. Please note, I have also tried the DataCmd PTSPull command to no avail.

I ended up retrieving all thralls using "ghost" in Pippi cheats admin menu. Had issues getting them to move until I selected them to follow which I guess prompts the game to do just that instead of the their previous state. The thralls then fell further out of sight and appeared back on terraferma. I then just kept repeating the process until all reappeared.

Thinking it was a once off I continued playing only to have the same thing happen again. Followed the above but some of the thralls were stuck in a falling loop and kept dropping past me while I was under the terrain in ghost mode "Oh look there's Curuthers again".

Currently building floors over entire town but looking for possible causes that for this issue. Pics below for reference.

Been having the exact same issues.

Sometimes they fall through the ground and I have to either Ghost and drag them back to the surface, or recall them.

If I can hear them swimming in the water under the surface, I can usually Ghost and find them. But when there is no water below the surface, I usually have to recall them in order to get them back.

Most of the time they just drop through floors, i.e., Foundations and Ceiling pieces.
This happens all the time on PC and PS4/5 platforms.

Because it happens on the PS4/5 platform as well, that tells me it is a Funcom issue and not a Mod causing the problem.

I had this issue in my current Siptah play through. Placing the thralls on foundations seemed to fix the issue for me. Not sure what the cause is.

The Foundations didn't help for me, my Thralls still drop down through them as well.
Even the ones placed in the Green Silhouette at Doors fall through the Foundations and Ceiling pieces.

Again, this happens on both the PC and Console (PlayStation).

This got worse since 2-3 patches ago, and like normal its never fixed cause they don't test there game nor play there own game.

This been a thing since launch day. Doubt it’ll be fixed at all at this point.

Found a large contingent of my thralls also fell through the foundations too since I last posted. Was thinking if the mod Thralls are alive could possibly negate falling thralls if thralls are set to a patrol or any other set of movements other than guarding. I might try this out.

I can't replicate this on vanilla. Like, not even close. The closest I can get to replication is having a bunch of thralls stand close together on a foundation that's connected to a random build piece (like a wall or something) and then deleting the wall -- but even then, they only sink to the mesh and stop, just kinda being half-wedged in the foundation itself.

So, my recommendation would be to test without mods first, and if the problem abates, start testing mods one by one until the culprit(s) is (are) found.

I have the same issue, when i knock them out they disappear underground and i can't get to them.

I had to resort to filling in space reserved for open ground with foundation. Something I would have preferred not doing to save on materials and it just looked better with the fort design I was using.

Doesn't help as much as I like, but it's easier to pick up a thrall half-sunk into a foundation than it is to retrieve one that fell into the Earth.

I haven't lost any thralls in my latest game, yet. But what is annoying me is I will kill 7 or 8 guys and turn around and theres only one corpse to loot because the rest all fell through the Earth. The one that almost made me rage quit was I was beating the Hell out of some named guy for about 2 hours to thrall him. Finally got him down and he instantly disappeared. I was only level 10 and shouldn't have been going for this guy at that point, he was way too high level for me, but dodge roll makes anything possible in this game (I gave up and went and got a Cim beserk instead, took about 10 minutes to knock him out.

ZeroKarma, for that particular bug of a knocked out body, sprint to out of render distance and return. Most of the time that will put them on the surface again. Perhaps in some other instances they actually fell to the bottom of the map and dedded, so be quick.

Bodies, living or dead, going under map, not fun.

I don't believe it is a Mod causing the issue. I play on both PC and Console. This happens on Console as well, not only with me, but also with those I play with on Console.
There are no Mods on Console.
So this is a Game issue and not a Mod issue.

One only has to look at the developers stream and play the game to know this is true. In fact they don't even know the name of many items or mechanics. The LEAD DEVELOPER doesn't even know how to play. Let that sink in. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I've been having issues with my thrall's gear disappearing despite it showing the gear being worn.

Then there's the longstanding bug with glitched thrall placement on the Improved Stove that STILL ISN'T FIXED!!!!
