Barkeeper and purge
the anouncement says the barkeeper has to be rescued from the cages of a purge. The purge has to be from a certain level so the bartender can appear or is totally RNG?

I got a one from a level 1 purge so probably rng.

got mine from level 1 purges on 2 different servers, seems pretty common

I've seen them appear from any level. Its the "enlist contact" guy i wouldnt see till lvl 5+

Got a barkeep from a lvl 1 purge. Probably just random chance if you get one or not, idependant of purge level.

I did 5 purges since the patch, lvl 4-6 and got an barkeeper every time.

The level doesn't matter, it's just rng. That includes the merc guy. Got him on the very first purge I did after update just doing a lvl 1 test purge. Got the barkeeper in the 2nd purge, also lvl 1

What I was really after was the new archer posts. I thought I read you could loot those and possibly the recipe at the purge camps, but no luck on either so far
