Month old post, but for the record about 25% of them are arguably the second best archers in the game, however there's no way to know whether you have a good one or a bad one unless you get a few and test them under controlled conditions to see which one does twice as much damage as the others. It's not really worth the hassle when you can just go get a guaranteed spawn Du'neman who will end up being equally good for much less effort, unless you just can't stand having a purge base full of balding men.
As fighters, they're all worthless. Or at least worthless compared to alternatives you can get just as easily. Having the best fighter and the second best archer both be guaranteed spawns in places where it's easy to isolate them isn't good game design imo. It renders an entire map of other possibilities almost pointless. It does sound like they're planning a big follower update in the next Chapter though, so we'll see what happens. There has to be a better way to design this.
