there is also food marked with healing trait but might be the same as standard one.
I have food in him. It takes ages to go up to 6.5K HP with food only.

Healing arrows - Aoe healing Overtime. Although, it may looks like the arrow(healing effect) sticks on the thrall, thrall will stop healing when it moves out the area. So the healing effect is centered in an area, not centered around the thrall.
Healing Potions - Use from Thrall's inventory
Healing Wrap - Use from Thrall's inventory
Food - Regenerate amount per second is based on the type of food you give them. (Check Fandom)
Healing option for Pets:
Healing Arrows
Food
No Potion or Wrap for them.
I recommend getting the Passive healing perk at lv 10 in Authority.
