Best way to get armour scraps?

Looking for the best and easiest way to get armour scraps

I go to Klaels Stronghold on west side of map. Take on the Champion. Get about 6 scraps. Place a bedroll inside so you can return without going through the map.

Isn't that also kinda the only way to get armor scraps? Killing those two bosses and looting the rooms you open with rusty keys?

I suppose you could also kill other players who happen to be carrying some though, but killing the dungeon boss is probably better and more reliable.

I've got some scraps from the 2 chests that are behind the stairs right at the beginning.
