chilled godbreaker vs redeemed legion armor

Why would i craft the chilled godbreaker if i alerady have the redeemed legion armor?

I just saw that the chilled godbreaker has the same armor as the redeemed legion. But the godbreaker wich gives you cold resistant is way better in terms of armor.

Am i missing something here? Besides the helmet beeing a sandstorm mask.

none , you don't need armor above 800 and redeemed already provides you 1,2k and resistance to elements.
on top of that you can repair redeemed easy by colecting 3 to 4 cymerian armors and deconstructing them , in godbreaker you don't have that luksury.

It seems to have an effect until slightly past 1200(although its a lot smaller according to the wiki). Where do you get 800 as the best number?

i just don't need more , even 55% dmg reduction at 650 armor is great in coop if your going for build with more than 500hp.
none of the bosses hit for value like that except arena champion , and even 80% won't do much against that piece of s... breaking any balance thanks to some idiot in dev department enemy.

You are indeed missing something here....Champion's Armor!
Its the best armor in the game. (although i use a godbreaker helm because of the gasmask(i have it illusioned to look like an eyepatch because its ugly AF)).
