Beyond Decor
Shani's Stuff
Highmane's
Immersive RP Buildings and Placeables
Shadows of Skelos (V2 and/Or Ext)
Yeah, the Beyond stuff is really nice.
Got a few of these. Beyond and Shani's stuff and I think Immersive RP buildings etc... Really like them. I'm going to check out Highmane and Shadows of Skelos :D
Hi ~ I am still new to the game, so I look forward for the replies you get as well!
What I can recommend:
Less Buildings Placement Restrictions
Pythagoras: Expanded Building
LBPR additional features
Arena Pier
Emberlight
Savage Steel
Beyond Stations and Decor (Rustic)
Exotic Decorations
Shadows of Skelos
RA: Visual Tweaks (so you can enjoy your decorations)
and if thralls matters to you to look their part too
Devious Desires
Fashionist
Immersive Artisans
With the thrall part I made my rooms more lifely, e.g. having one wiping the bath, another sweeping the hallway, another one stacking stuff into cupboards etc. etc. etc.
Thralls are alive mod is another cherry on top ~
Great list. Definitely want to see what the Thralls are live mod is like. My Thralls could definitely do with something to do other than stand looking at me.
Mhm. While it does not add any decorations per se, I think it is essential for anyone who cares about decorations and building. Same goes for the Arena Pier and Pythagoras.
I could have mentioned as well Northern Timber, Limestone Building, Treasures of... from the same series. Though again, those do not add decorations. But I consider it important to have something like shallow roofs to make stuff looking great, and the decorative pillars are great for custom anwings and such.
Great suggestions. Definitely helps with decoration :D

LBPR mod load order listed right on their mod page...NOT a suggestion:
Pippi
Any mod that modifies or creates new buildings, placeables, pets, or thralls.
Pythagoras: Expanded Building
LBPR - Additional Features
Unlock Plus with Pickup
LBPR
Here is a good "loose" guide (below). I say that because some mods have a specific order that goes out of bounds of this guide. It is always important to READ THE MOD DESCRIPTION FULLY! And then read other mod descriptions as something might be stated in one and not another. For example the RA mods. The main RA customization mod says nothing of order. The Fantasy one tells you proper load order if you use the 2 mods together.
Also, some modders might not know their mod is incompatible with others or list it as such if they do know but another modder might make a mod and know right away it conflicts and might say something in their own description. So reading all descriptions helps! Reading comments by users of the mod can help too as they often state their own issues or experiences or tips.
Then just test, test, test. If a mod doesnt work in one order then try it in a different one. It doesnt always mean the mod if broken or poorly maintained. There are soooooo many amazing mods out there and we are lucky to have such a great pool of modders here in Conan. I have a hard time limiting myself to around 70 "must have" mods. Many I have used for years and they work perfectly together.

Sorry for the mini derail but it is important info when using mods hehe. But now back to your normally scheduled programming! :D <3
Great list.
Devious Desires is so misunderstood. I love it. So much immersion for my thralls. :D
Most load orders are indeed suggestions.. this is not skyrim where every mod relies on 10 others.
The way it works is that your modlist will get loaded by the game from top to bottom...
If more than one mod directly edits a basegame asset or changes their static data in datatables, then the one further down the modlist will overwrite the changes made by the other.. etc.
However.. most mods that add new stuff and don't need to modify existing ones.. or ones that operate based on coded logic at runtime rather than static data will absolutely not care where they are on the modlist. (For example Fashionist, Better thralls, most of my mods.. etc.)
It's generally a modding "best practice" to try to avoid editing basegame assets as much as possible, because that way there's a much higher chance it's going to be compatible with other mods as well as future updates. However, sadly not everything can be accomplished without doing that. Very complex mods might have no option but to touch certain basegame parts, or very specific mods that literally have no other way because the functionality they're trying to introduce is only accessible in that one spot.
We still try to avoid it when we can, so a majority of the more popular mods will really not care about the load order, and typically even these giant modlists only have a tiny handful of mods that need to be in a specific order in relation to one-another (and not the rest of the mods).
The reason you see the suggestion on LBPR for example, is because LBPR edits the master placeable blueprint (among other things) to ease up on the placement restrictions, that can't be done anywhere else.. so they have no choice, because of this they recommend that you load LBPR last.. JUST IN CASE any other mod on your list also happens to edit that asset - else the changes made by LBPR wouldn't work.
However if you happen to load it FIRST (or anywhere else for that matter), it will still work just as well provided none of the other mods further down edit the same basegame stuff.
I hope that explains it a bit better.
Basically Conan load orders are quite flexible and as a general rule of thumb... "If it aint broke.. don't fix it"...
You will definitely know when something is wrong with your load order as you'll either be missing functionality of certain mods or get a bunch of crashes (in case a mod relies on custom code they put in a basegame asset that then is being overwritten by another which doesn't contain the code being referenced), but if you start it up and can't notice any issues, then it's completely fine to leave it alone.
Edit: As a disclaimer in case any would try to take this out of context :) This is not meant as an excuse to disregard load order suggestions by the authors, just as an explanation as to why things still work
a) I removed my mod load order from my guide, so @Miss Murder Mittens will not take offense on what I know is chaotic but still following my own personal order
b) before removing it I tried to change the mod order accordingly to the guide linked by Miss Murder Mittens => I could not login anymore onto my server, reverting back with backup did not help either => panic
Now I just keep my mod loading order out of it. It was never meant as a suggestion as "do it like this" to begin with. Just sharing what worked for me. And I see it as I have written before in the guide: as long as it works, it works. Why moving stuff around and risking something breaks when everything is ACTUALLY WORKING FINE?
As for the poster above. No need to be a snippy witch. Did I tell you to change your stuff? HELL NO, I most certainly did not. That is on you not me.
Am I the least bit offended by your or "guide"? Nope, not in the least. To each their own. Your list does make me cringe. So do 99% of the other lists in Collections on the Workshop. That is simply a fact and guess what? IT MATTERS NOT! It effects me in no way shape or form! Again, to each their own. Everyone has their own preference for how they order stuff. Me, Im OCD as futz which is WHY I cringe, nothing more. But I would never push that on anyone. However, I have helped many server owners over the years with mod load orders and have run my own server with 70 mods, many of them major ones. All with 100% success so Im not exactly a noob and probably mod test waaaaaaaaaay more than the average player that uses mods.
My comments were simply meant to help players that are new to a certain mod or maybe to mods altogether. Too many people do not read the description (or FULL) description and then have the nerve to blame modders and whine that mods are broken or do not work as intended. That is just pure BS most of the time. It is usually 100% USER ERROR!
In your case I posted what I did as an IN CASE. IF, big IF there your mod list breaks in the future when you get into more complex mods then it is important info for you to see. What I posted about it being mandatory is the MODDERS words, not mine! But it gives you (and others that use the same mods) a good reference to look back at if your stuff breaks because it is currently considered "out of proper working order". Wouldnt want to offend any of you with that so I put it in quotations because I understand order just fine. But I use them in his stated order and my stuff works perfectly. So /shrug.
The guide I posted was just to be helpful. THOUSANDS of players use that exact guide with smashing success. It is recommended by multiple modders. I am sorry it did not help you personally. You are honestly the first I've ever heard of it not working for.
Something to ponder since it wasnt mentioned above....
How would you or anyone 100% new to a mod know if a mod was broken or not if your game loaded perfectly? What if the mod was working but "not working"? Several features did work but several simply dont because the load order is wrong. How would you ever know? This can happen you know and has happened to me many times over the years so it is indeed possible. In this case you (or just anyone in general) would be going through your gameplay without getting its full potential. Why settle for that when reading simple tips in a mod description can help maximize your gameplay?
THIS is what I was getting at in my previous comments and why load order and READING INSTRUCTIONS can be so important to get the most out of your mods. TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MODS! Not just to make your game or server start up successfully. So no need to be snippy. Because I was 100% correct in what I was saying.
Good day to you and sorry OP again for the derail! <3
