This is about a Journey step in Conan Exiles, in the Survivor branch, where it's telling you to cook meat in a campfire, which I've done, and then take the meat from the inventory of the campfire and put it either into your character inventory or onto your hotbar. I've tried both.
I do have mods, but I don't see how any of them could effect journey steps. I'll try removing all mods and restarting just to be sure though...
I think in multiple incidences in the journey steps that this little 'bug' can occur if you already have something in your inventory and it wants you to make a new one. Probably an event listener for something to show up in the inventory but because it is already there it isn't registering it coming into the inventory.
This worked for me, but didn't have to store it, just dropped it and picked it back up. Worked perfect.
