Broken challenges.

The following challenge steps do not appear to be working, at least for me:

1. "Consume the heart of a hero." - Consuming a heart of a hero does not trigger challenge completion.

2. "Butcher corpses." Tried human, animal & monster corpses with all sorts of tools. Does not work.

3. "Defeat a rhino using poison." I shot poison arrows at the ground near a rhino. The poison clouds killed the rhino - did not trigger challenge completion.

Will add to this list if I find more.

The first two are working fine.

1. Consume the heart works every time for me - if it's not working it could be some temporary connection problem to the Funcom servers (sometimes it doesn't register things)

2. Using a cleaver on any corpse, human or animal works.

3. That won't work, the poison arrow doesn't do poison damage contrary to the name, it does "noxious gas cloud" damage. The Snake Arrows are the ones that apply poison damage, or reaper poison on a dagger etc. Basically it needs to have the poison droplet icon on the target. And the very last hit needs to come from the poison stack ticking.

The Set Snake Arrows will complete the quest. Just have to be careful and not shoot it too many times.

Yea, what I meant is that poison arrows won't work.. the challenge does :)

related problems with challanges that are broken, MODS, mods do break challanges.

example: you have a stack mod "badly made", all challanges that req item collection can break, that includes skinning and butchering.

so, if challanges stop working, remove mods one by one and see witch one breaks the challanges.

Drowned Armory's weapons with the exception of the bow are also very effective for this challenge as well, I usually use them instead of the set arrows, being careful with the damage.

do you have a stack mod? if you do use one, disable it, harvest again and it will work.
