What to do with all those thralls?
I have finally built Greater Wheel of Pain, but the problem is I already have cca 15 combat thralls and also some smelters/dancers/tanners etc. It's cool to put thralls on Wheel of Pain, but I don't know what to do with them.

And additional problem is those thralls in front of my base just stand like trees or something, they don't move, sometimes they are faced to wall, they really look weird and creepy. I wish Funcom in one of the next updates improve behaviour of the combat thralls. They should walk, go on patrol or something.

I know there is a mod Thralls are Alive, but I don't know can I install that mod on a private server? And that mod looks excessively complex.

What do you do with all your thralls (fighers/archers)?

Fighter Thralls stand there and fight Purge.
Archer go into the garbage.
Thralls are for the purge, thats why you need so many. I tend to lose two or three thralls every purge.

If you don't want them just standing there, assign them an emote.

Also, unless you have top tier thralls in epic gear 15 may not be enough to withstand a purge.

If you don't want your thrall facing the wall, turn the thrall around.

Why garbage? When I train my t4 archers I give them an epic armor and katana and go to the Unnamed city to farm bosses and the Red Mother. They level up pretty fast over there. I built a small base in the desert right next to the northern entrance so I can store my loot there in between the multiple raids.
Archers are pretty decent with katana, practically as good as the treasure seekers. At lvl 20 I equip them with a legendary bow and 100-150 dragonbone arrows in addition to katana and place them on the wall.

Don't understand, how can you have multiple thralls following you?

Max the Authority Attribute and the last perk you can choose to have 1 more thrall following you.

Then if you play solo there are mods that let you have upto 10 follow at once.

pretty sure thralls don't use arrows from inventory only what was dropped on their bow, so you can keep 90-140 in your backpack

Actually they do use arrows from their inventory. When they run out, they start shooting flint arrows, which is the weakest version of arrow in the game. So if you want them doing more damage, then it's a good idea to give them a few stacks of some good arrows.

1. Store thralls in containers until you need them. Unlike animals, human thralls dont expire. Pet thralls you can put in a freezer so they don't expire.

2. You can set your thrall to do an emote if you dont like them just standing around. Hold interact button on a thrall and you get a very useful wheel from which you can pick behaviour - emote - choose emote. I particularly like to make entertainers be seductive instead of dancing..

3. Golems you can make to autonomously harvest materials while you are within drawing distance. It depends on golem construction what they can harvest.

While thralls dont NEED to have ammo, they do prioritize using ammo from their inventory if such exists. This means you can make them use poison arrows or whatnot.

I don’t have multiple thralls following me, I have chosen a different perk which I consider to be vastly superior to the War party. I just explained how I usually train all my thralls, that’s all. I equip each of them with the best gear crafted by the best T4 craftsmen and take them (one at a time) to the Unnamed City to train. Sorry if that was unclear.

I never train Archers with a bow, it’s a waste of time and ammo. Daggers are junk, not serious weapons. You will just kill your precious T4 if you give him daggers. Lots of acrobatics, no useful fighting or damage to speak of. Maybe they are okay for for the noob river but definitely not in the dungeons. An upgraded katana crafted by a proper t4 blacksmith is the best way to go if you want to train T4 archers.

hi in my older game i keep most spare thralls in a cupboard, and usually put 4 archers on top of each small building, like an outpost, where they are out of reach from melee but can still fire down on enemies.

one of my mini-bases was near that Summoning Place, and they often defended me when i was running back with someone i captured, or from the occasional RockNoses and with the help of 1 melee thrall, they usually defeated both of them :)

there was also a really cool Conscripts mod, which let you convert spare thralls into Helpers, (by making them some extra items and equipment), and then they would use i think other items or food, to go hunting or gathering for a particular different material you needed.

eg, kit them out, give them some leather and meat, and they come back with stone etc. :)

i think i read that it stopped working on latest conan version but havent tried yet

I think I will max War Party, and then have 1 T4 Fighter following me along with 1 T3 or T4 Bearer. Those Bearers are cool, you can really put so much stuff into their inventory, and they can also fight.

I know I can have a mount like Horse or Rhino following me with their inventory, but to me it just looks ridiculous, Exiles map is not very suitable for mounts. Big Rhino following me everywhere it just isn't my playstye.
