Any reason to get isle of Siptah for single player only?
I have no interest in playing with other people but I enjoyed the single player a few years ago. Is there any reason to get the isle of Siptah DLC if I'm only going to play single player. Some reviews said it was basically just a battle royal mode for the game.

Looks like you read some pre-release reviews. The new areas, thrall camps and mechanics make Siptah about as single player friendly as the original map.

If you are tired of the original map and want something mostly the same but different, then give Siptah a try.

Very much imho. I find Isle of Siptah significantly easier than exiled lands. Not because of the enemies, but because of the layout of the map. It's more a "QoL-Easiness". Regardless where you start, the diestance to high-end-resources is almost the same, because they are directly in the center.

And the dungeons also aren't that bad, with a very good reward of every end.

AND you will be able to ride Rhinos. LOYAL Rhinos... with inventory.

If you want to get sorcery, I recomend to start more east. If not even directly east... (I wouldn't recommend that, though, because to get to the center-stepps, you need to cross a stronghold, then...)

Meanwhile, IoS has everything, exiled land has. Including named thralls in camps and natural purges. (You CAN trigger a purge on your own if you get the requriements, however.) It seems, this wasn't the case on release. (I got mine later, too.)

I would say yes, but only worth getting during a DLC sale. There's a good deal of things to do in SP on the isle of Siptah but the map won't take anything like as long to complete as the exiled lands will. Large swathes of the map are simply empty of anything to do. It's a great map for team based PvP but there's less to do in SP.

It's possible to get a load of high-end crafting materials and recipes in the map but because transferring a character between the exiled lands and Siptah (and vice-versa) is currently disabled, there's very little point because bringing all your snacky new items and recipes back to the exiled lands is impossible.

There's definitely some hours of fun to be had in SP in Siptah but I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it. If character transfer is ever re-enabled by funcom then at that point it will definitely be worth getting,

Awesome, thank you! I got it during the current spring sale for that very reason.
