resist destroyer curse?

the destroyer weapon which you get as a boss drop gives you heavy cursed level if you finish its weapon art but in the description it says the most steadfast warriors can resist this, is that just lore is there a way to be the most "steadfast" warrior and not get cursed after the weapon art?

There used to be a perk that prevented it but they removed it.

on bright side you can use it at fixed curse lvl and to cast spells , it's not bad weapon but any legendary will do the same with out 40% of coruption

ive since made a corruption/strength build but wanted to know if there is anyway to get a full 4 heavy combo out of the weapon? I put full points into grit and got gladiator armour for the extra stamina and I can only do 3 heavys in a row. any solution to this?

Get Kurak's Pants (32 Stamina with thrall) and some Spiderclimb boots (22 Stamina with thrall)
