Build a small base there. Bring Explosives.
and instead using mod i just can use commands its really easier
thanks for that information
The mod does not change the content of the game.. and while it's entirely your choice what you use and what you don't, I think you're going about it in a pretty bad way, seeing as there's nothing to "beat".. Conan is a sandbox game, you make your own story, there are no quests and whatnot.
I can totally understand not wanting to use content mods that actually change the game, but you're literally the first person I saw who says NO to QoL mods :P There's thousands of console players who'd kill for the ability to use them as they just "fix" things or improve your gameplay while keeping it vanilla in terms of content.. (stuff like showing the stats of things in crafting stations, UI stuff.. etc)
Anyway, the bottom line is this. What you're experiencing is a side-effect of not playing on a dedicated server.. The game doesn't have a real single player mode, it just emulates a limited scope server that only creates actors around your character.
Because of this the meteor shower spawner only ever gets created when you go sufficiently close to the area, and even if meteors fall, if they fall further from you and exit your active range then they just despawn.
However the timers reset each and every time you go away and back and they were tuned for full-time running servers, which means you only get a chance once every 30 minutes and only if you're in the zone. Now if you idle there for half an hour, you do have a chance to get a meteor shower, which may or may not despawn by landing too far..
The mod I linked was created specifically to address this issue with single player mode or very crowded servers. For all intents and purposes it's a patch to fix something.
With that being said if you don't want it, don't use it or use the commands.. doesn't make a difference to me, I was just trying to help :P
bro really tanks for everything i thing u spend a lot time ti type that for me so thanks
but you know i feel sth bad when i install mod i even prefer to dont use any mod in minecraft but really tanks
Again, I was just trying to help. I made a lot of mods that are all QoL stuff and keep the game pretty vanilla content-wise.. things like a minimap, a tiny party UI to see your followers healthbars, displaying stats in the bench.. more actionbar slots.. etc etc. you get the idea, none of them allow you to "cheat" in any way :D
I primarily made them for myself, but ofc they're all prettied up and publicly available for anyone to download so ofc I take the opportunity to recommend them whenever I see they could help someone else.
Anyway a good alternative method people often use is capture cimmerian thralls at their camp near the mounds of the dead and tame them on the wheel (it's even better now since taming times have been drastically reduced). They will often come out of the wheel with star metal weapons already on them which you can then dismantle.
did u upload them in steam workshop?

Just take your time and build something.
There are plenty of spots that are relatively safe from hostile activity.
Small camp site, small shack (even sandstone with thatch will give you shelter from the cold).
Even a small base if you so wish to do so.
There's nothing to stop you.
There are even some small natural shelter caves you can make use of.
Safety Hint: Build on the shady side of a hill well below the summit during the morning sun.
Spend time there without being in such a rush. Explore and get to know the place. You'll be fighting difficult enemies and bitter, freezing cold in some areas, so be careful where you roam.
The meteors will come sooner or later. Keep your ears open and look to the sky when you hear them.
Just make sure you're carrying explosive arrows and at least a hardened steel pick or your efforts to harvest star metal will be wasted.
