Bro, I've just checked.. seems like these are only a bunch of cosmetics from some movie.. ☹ I'll try to watch the movie though.
And yes you can enjoy the game fully no DLC but there is a DLC expansion as well that offers more than cosmetics
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1206200/Conan_Exiles_Isle_of_Siptah/
Is a whole new map though so I wouldnt buy it right away
also it adds building bits as well

Watched the trailer, just think how it most of been to see this trailer for the first time back then
a well done movie for it's time :D
While it can be "fanboyish" I guess, It's probably the worst one in terms of gameplay benefits so if somebody was interested in the game itself and wanted only 1 DLC, this one would be on the bottom of my recommendation list :) Basically it's a few helmets (that may or may not seem ugly to you) and a bunch of statues..
As for OP, ALL DLCs are just cosmetic.. the Isle of Siptah adds a new map which has its own mechanics and some armor / weapons with better stats than what you can get on Exiled Lands, however those are accessible only on that map (there used to be server transfers where people smuggled them across, but they are disabled now).
Edit: So as a clarification in case it wasn't clear.. the Isle of Siptah expansion is a standalone map.. it does NOT expand the current Exiled Lands map, instead you have to start a completely new game on that map to play it
As an answer to your question though, yes, ofc you can play the basegame without any DLCs and pretty much have the full experience since those are just decorations and cosmetically different variants of existing basegame armor / weapons / building sets
It is next to useless to your average gamer who wants to play a survival rpg. Meaning that most of the items are very niche decorations. Other DLCs add several armor sets, saddles, building sets etc, so way more functional items.
Not trying to take away from the DLC btw, I myself own all of them, I am just trying to be objective about it from a gameplay point of view, so we don't mislead OP who might not care for the Conan movie at all and is just looking to play a game :)
-- especially this. A very important detail. So it's not an expansion but a standalone ✍🏻
That aside, I just need to figure out where to watch such old movies *cough* 🏴☠️🦜I prolly have no choice at this point since it's an old movie. I mean it's just so that I'll know this Conan Barbarian lore. Hmm.
