Thrall Hunting
Where is a good place to look for Alchemists and Taskmasters? These seem to be the only thralls I'm having a hard time trying to find. I'm currently still in the River biome and haven't left it yet though so that may be part of the problem. Darfari camps seem to lack both and Taskmasters seem to be a very rare spawn in Exile camps to the point it's not even worth checking for them. I checked a Black Hand camp too but nothing. Considering visiting the Dogs of the Desert next.

Any tips or advice would be appreciative. I'm not hunting Tier 3s or 4s, for the record. Just Tier 1s right now.

Most camps have both static and rotating spawns for thrall types, even more so with the 'faction base' camps, you can tell on the map which camp is the 'faction base' because it will have a unique coloured icon compared to their normal camps.

Be warned though these camps normally feature much larger numbers of thralls and you can get overwhelmed quite easily if not cautious.

Alternatively you can try the city of sepermeru, the thralls will be neutral unless attacked, they are quite tough and come come in large numbers, but if you are able to overcome the challenge, the waterside area has pretty much every type of thrall available.

On the exiled lands map sepermeru is good for thrall hunting in general. Then there's the summoning place(thats its name) and new asagarth. These are the biggest places with thralls - only sepermeru is friendly tho(until you attack).

Yeah I was kind of hoping to avoid the faction HQs as I don't think I'm properly equipped for them yet. Especially not Sepermeru as the Relic Hunters are one of the tougher human factions.

But if that's all I got then I suppose I can poke around in the Darfari base to see if they have anything there. It's not *too* far and they're one of the weaker factions so I probably stand a better chance.

If you wanna take it slow or stay in river, Sinner`s Refuge could be a decent bet, still Taskmaster is one of the least frequent spawns, but it`s reasonable enough rate.

I've visited Sinner's Refuge several times trying to get a Priest of Mitra. Finally got one but I've never seen any Taskmasters or Alchemists in there; not counting the Chosen of Asura. Those are Tier 4 and I'm just looking for simple Tier 1s at the moment. That's while I've been focusing on the Exile camps since they seem to be mostly Tier 1s and Tier 2s.

I think I saw one Taskmaster very early into my current game but I wasn't yet ready to capture him at the time and I haven't seen any since.

In the starting area heading towards the jungle biome is “Exile camp 23” (google for more details).
You’ll know when you find it it has a large bonfire with three thralls one is always a taskmaster that is wandering around, a fighter thrall spawn and the other one is always a worker thrall spawn that has a strong chance to spawn a T4 thrall. This is a spot I always farm for thralls ( my go to for new games).

That list for SR may be outdated since they added rare Zath priest spawns there too.
Sinners refuge is usually one of the first spots I check for t4 alchemists, I get a lot of them there and they're pretty easy enemies there so its a quick and easy named alchemist. Also has taskmaster spawn but I dont see it as often.

For taskmaster farming I usually go to sepermu because theres a lot of taskmaster spawns but they're a bit tougher there.

I have been farming there regularly for weeks and haven't seen a single zath spawn, plenty of named and unnamed mitra priests though. So it doesn't seem to have much of an impact on farming the others from my experience at least.
