how to change clan name?

I click the text bar beside the clan name in clan tab and changed it but the base and all the items own by clan didn't update.

Everyone leaves the clan. The last person (Clan leader) in the clan can dissolve it. Create a new clan with a new name. Everyone joins the new clan. If I remember correctly, the Clan leader is the only one that can dissolve it.

You used to be able to change it, still should be able to change it if you're the leader unless Funcom changed it - or unless they broke it accidentally.

No more hold tab to see block info and decay timer (gotta have a hammer now... stupid change) no more hit "F" to take all (another stupid, stupid change), now no more option to change clan name without disbanding?

That is how I recall it. Keep in mind I have been playing the game since it entered early access. I have not been able to keep up with all the changes. That was the procedure a few years ago. If you are the clan leader, try changing the name first.

I play PVP and I change my clan name regularly, sometimes multiple times during one game play session, I've had days when my buildings declare three different owner names when you inspect different buildings and even different building parts within the same building can declare different owners.

will there be any problem with accessing it when there are different clan names for buildings?

If you're playing on a server with Pippi then you can use that to change the clan name or as an admin to do it for you.
