Pet's and thrall's Attributes. What do they do?
I can't seem to find any up-to-date info about this. All guides and explanations are from before 3.0, when there were more attributes and agility gave armour and so on.

Thralls are clear enough I think, but I would like someone to confirm this:
Depending on the weapon type they currently use (agility weapon or Strength weapon) they get bonus damage based on their AGI/STR score, which translates into +% damage. So if I have a thrall with 30 agi and 1 str and level 1, and both stats give similar increase, then he is better off using agility weapons and skipping str food because that STR weapon damage bonus won't be active while using daggers.

Pets I am really puzzled about though. Why do they have both Max STR damage bonus and Max AGI damage bonus. Since I can't decide which bonus to use by giving them a specific weapon, which one of the two bonuses is the one that matters? Are they both added up and so I have to calculate which stat gives the highest increase and feed them according to that?

Pets only use strength as far as I know.. perhaps agility is used for any long range attacks some pets may have but I can't say for sure.

Generally I tend to not bother with agility on pets for that reason.

Some pets like big cats and wolves do use agility. Right now that does give them overpowered attacks which is why they are getting nerfed.

But is there any in-game tooltip that says so and I can't see it? Or is this community-based knowledge, gained through datamining or extensive testing done by some members?

From the information I have, it is from data mining in the Dev kit from some of the community members. There are hidden modifiers on pets and thralls that are not shown in the interface the players can bring up on them in the radial menu.

The information they released applied to "Pets" and did not specify the type. They mentioned that Scorpions will be getting a boost, there is something about them being too weak.

No they don't, pets do not benefit from agility in any way atm.

If you open that spreadsheet you can look up the thrall you're interested in by simply searching with ctrl+F and there are notes in the header that explain what is what if you hover on the columns.
Pets are not listed here since things are very different for them and since they have "built-in weapons" with varying damage, none of that would mean anything anyway as you couldn't objectively compare one to the other.
