removal of base game content for bazaar resale!

i was able to use the cross legged and kneeling sit emotes before the last update, it seems they have vanished now. are they seriously removing base game features to sell back to us or is this some kind of bug?

Same here. The kneeling emote has vanished from my account as well.

I don't think it's a bug if many people are experiencing it. Kind of messed up if they are actually removing emotes from the game.

checked the official wiki, it says they are bazaar items now :O seriously? removing existing content to resell it?! is this even legal?

What?????? Yeah just checked in, hope this is in fact a bug cuz it feels pretty weird to be taken away after many months in the game being usable by everyone by default.

I have nothing against supporting the continued development of this game by using the Bazaar and I have already bought most of the other stuff they’ve put up for sale, but if they deliberately remove emotes already in the game in order to sell it back to us … well, lets just say it kind of disgust me. There is something you just don’t do!

Was in MOD, and found chicken Emote and was like "we gonna dance tonight" but it wasn't there :(

Hardly going to assuage people but from what i gather, those emotes were always supposed to be in the bazaar, due to a bug or mix up whatever they ended up in the game accidentally.

Ripping away emotes from the player base when many players have assumed it was free feels pretty raw, but it is their game and how the choose to distribute content is up to the funcom. Doesn't make it feel less ♥♥♥♥♥♥ though.

Just got back to game, and baazar was unplesent supprise, i was ok with buing dlc but baazar and battle pass is to much i even wented to buy battle pass but it is predatory as they get. You can't buy exac ammount of coins that you need you have to buy bigger package or 2 smaller. What a shame, looks like i can forget about this game.

wow .. If its not illegal, it should be. They are like .. Here come buy this awesome cheese burger with all these toppings for this price. Then after you eat (buy the game), tip (purchase dlcs), etc.. they waitress says - oh now you need to pay for the cheese we put on the cheese burger you bought.

LOL... it's the times we are in .... total corruption at every level of industry and government with only a few actually trying to do anything while the masses are brainwashed into oblivion.

When you see the corruption... that is what it is. Imagine you go out to your car one day and your tires are missing.... You find out the manufacture come out in the middle of the night and took them off so they cold resell them back to you. LOL... even this analogy I wouldn't put past the industry. With the tech industry they can say "it's just intangible bits", but they also use the flip side of the same argument to fraudulently take money from others for the same thing. Why they can get away with putting GB of data on your HD that you didn't buy, while other companies would charge you for using their space.

I'd like to see the chair manufacture go into any tech office and start charging them a fee every time an exec sat down. Using a different chair... sorry you got to pay a fee. Looking out the window... provided by another manufacturer... you got to pay a fee... and the other guy can't look out unless he pays a fee. Same with the chairs... they are registered to a single butt... you must pay every time you sit.

Technically, they were never meant to be base game content. They debuted in the basegame the same time they launched in the Bazaar.

But they where in the game! It may not be intended but that was Funcoms fault and pulling them out of the game in order to sell them back, is a lousy, cheap decision. You just don’t give you customer something and then then take it back.

If you purchased a … let say a car, and you discovered that it came with a set of nice front fog lights, I’ll bet you would be pi..ed if the dealer came and took took them back, claiming that they where an accessory you were meant to pay extra for.

That's an extremely bad policy and people like me that actually have purchased most of what there are available in the Bazaar, may consider if that company is worth using any hard earned money to support in the future. Goodwill is hard to earn but very easy to loose. Dumb decision!

Two of my thralls are still sitting in the removed emotes. They are low level and just decorations on my base. lol Just going to leave them there..
