Singleplayer: Is the Hanuman's Grotto chest broken?

I haven't played in a while. I just went to Hanuman's Grotto to collect crystal and remembered that the chest takes hearts and sometimes returns potions or even an ape pet. When I press "E to Interact," I get a popup saying I've recieved a potion or ape pet. Except... I didn't. Nothing is added to my inventory, and nothing is removed. I had the Withered Heart before, and I still have it.

I've tried closing the game and restarting, exiting the grotto (and then closing the game and restarting) and even just throwing away the heart and collecting a new one. (Since he's *right there* each time practically handing it out.) Nothing I've tried seems to make any difference. Despite the message, the "sacrifice" is never actually accepted, and no reward is ever actually returned.

Is this a known issue, or am I running into something that isn't affecting anyone else?

Okay, thank you. I guess next time I play I'll just finish collecting my crystal and then head back to my fort. (It's not a fortress, it's nowhere near big enough.)

Plz fix the Hanumans Grotto and the pets from there........
