You Need a portion of the resources to make it right click and then hit repair

You make repair kits at a Tinker's bench. But you don't need a kit for a repair, just the mats and the feat to make the armor.

They allow you to repair armor/weapons without needing the basic materials. Though they only repair it up to a certain percentage and not fully. But it's usually enough to keep the item from breaking until you can get somewhere with the materials to do a full repair.

you'll need to have the knowledge to make one to repair one, that or some thralls from the same faction as the armor can repairs it (e.g : darfari armorer can repair darfari armor) you just have to put the armor on the armorer bench with the repair materials to repairs it

and if you look for legendaries repair armor kits...they are dropped (sometimes) by 3 skull bosses at skelly city/unnamed city
