how do you obtain a carcass?

the wiki tells me you can put carcasses in a fluid press. How do i get a carcass?

If you take a pet or horse out of the pen/stable and do not place it in the world before it expires, you get a carcass. They also show up frequently in opened Zathite bags.

If your 'pet' dies, it leaves a carcass when skinned.

Zathite bags are from Zath -religion. If you use the Zath religious tool on spiders they drop Zathite bags that contain different items you will receive when you use the bag in your inventory.
