I dont know if this has been posted yet, but see below for steam deck. Sorry for the errors along the way... steam deck keyboard is a pain to learn I find.

As of now I have just got Conan Exiles working in single player.

Install Proton GE from the app on Desktop mod.
Enable/Force latest proton GE (7 Something) in properties for Conan Exiles
Run the game and there will be a prompt to install proton battle eye. I installed this to the internal hard drive (Did not test external).

I was able to play single player just fine at 40 FPS on auto setting except for view distance at ultimate.

Multiplayer is unknown as of right now as it keeps saying my ping is to high so I will have to look into if its a bug or if I will need to get a dock for my deck with Ethernet cable. It does load battle eye and shows I am compatible the games on the server though.
If anyone wants to increase their ping limit to max I can see if it works that way.

I will be slowly adding mods to the game and see how well it works. I know with the new update some mods are broken atm so it will be a process.

If anyone has questions or would like me to test something let me know.

Update, I have been playing around with the mods and they are working from what I can tell. still between 30 and 40 FPS. Of course I don't have the ones that dont work on update 3.0 yet but will come back with what I know.

All right I figured out how to do it ultimately and I even got the online to work with mods.

For some reason steam deck doesn't want to enjoy higher Wi-Fi speeds from 5GHz connections so I will switch it to the slower wifi speeds on my secondary 2.4 GHz connection and it works fine then.

Oh my final tip uh, you might want to run this game in windowed Fullscreen, selecting Fullscreen tends to give angry results.

Is there anything else you did settings wise?
I'm using latest proton ge and my steam deck struggles to maintain 30fps on low settings
