Is the game dead?

I mean. I tried to get into the game... but all servers are empty :( Despite the number saying there's 12k at the moment... Where are these 12k?

There is a bug that shows up often that shows all servers with 0 population. With the summer sale the public servers have been quite busy.

Server list is still broken sometimes. it was showing zero when we were 17 people.

No issues here, many servers populated.

The server I play is so crowded that I can't even kill bosses in peace. There's always someone killing all the bosses especially in the nameless city.

Do some research before posting "dead game" threads. It takes 10 seconds at most to find out if this game is still very active or not.

Also since CE can be played single player, co-op, and you can run your own servers it's not possible for it to be "dead."

He could've been seeing empty servers as others have noted. So don't reprimand the player for the devs not fixing a simple bug as the one described not showing server pops.

if you're in europe, pve 1047 has huge population. 1045 is always busy at prime time too.

IMO this game is far from dead. You have to realize that servers have a 40 player limit. So if you just look at the server list you might think there are not lots of players. But, there are lots of servers and they are making major upgrades to the game...not a usual practice for a dead game.
