no pet.. they got nerfed so hard..

they always had half HP as an good human thrall...

now they do more lesser dmg and have lesser armor.. they nerfed them so ahrd.. i hate it

Would say, agressively agile. They're very fighty, and rush into all at range. They're good starter pets, even better if you can get a great one.
Made lately a fun run with a new ava, from desert to far north with one simple hyena. Ended max level in the north. They're just hyena, so don't rush into to heavy fithts with them, but they're handy to help, even carry some stuff with.

A basic hyena starts with a 0 in both str and agi. Depending on their growth rate in these stats and the RNG, they may become either. After a few levels look at their stats and see what it has become.
